Roma are ready to sell Manchester United and Everton linked defender Kostas Manolas in January if they receive an offer of around €40m, it has been claimed.

The 25-year-old defender’s future has again come under the scanner this month with a number of clubs in Italy and England being linked with a move for him in the winter window.

Everton are said to have held talks with the player’s representatives recently and there have been suggestions that Inter have identified him as their top target for the summer.

Manchester United have been consistently linked with the Greek defender and there have been claims that they have already made a big money offer for the player in January.

Roma have denied receiving any bids for the player this month yet, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the club are ready to sell the player if they get a certain price for him.

It has been claimed that an offer of around €40m would be good enough to convince Roma to part ways with the 25-year-old defender in the winter transfer window.

Roma are confident about their defensive resources and seem to be ready to cash in on the interest Manolas has been generating since last summer this month.

The Greek defender has a contract until 2019 with the Giallorossi.
