Manchester United and Everton target Kostas Manolas has denied rumours of a contract tussle with Serie A giants Roma.
The future of the Greek defender has been a subject of transfer speculation over the last few days, with a number of top European big wigs being linked with a move for him this month.
Manchester United and Everton have been mooted as his suitors in the Premier League and Inter Milan are said to be eyeing a move for him during the summer transfer window.
There have been suggestions that Roma are keen to secure their investment in the defender by offering a new contract and lock him down to a new long term deal at the Stadio Olimpico.
However, there have been claims that Manolas has knocked back their offer of a new deal as it contains a hefty release clause applicable for clubs outside Italy.
