Leeds United's new co-owner Andrea Radrizzani has arrived at the club's training base Thorp Arch.

The Italian businessman recently completed the purchase of a 50 per cent shareholding in the club from compatriot Massimo Cellino and is claimed to have an option to take it to 100 per cent in the summer, completely buying out the current chairman.

He is now starting to find his way around the Yorkshire giants and Leeds have confirmed that Radrizzani is at their Thorp Arch training base, meeting academy players and staff.

Leeds' first team are currently preparing for Friday night's Championship fixture against Derby County at Elland Road.

Radrizzani will be looking to quickly run the rule over his purchase as he looks at how to drive Leeds forward, both on and off the pitch.

Likely to be near the top of his agenda will be securing head coach Garry Monk.

Cellino appointed Monk as head coach in the summer on a one-year deal and the former Swansea City boss currently has Leeds sitting inside the playoff places in the Championship.

Monk is looking to make additions in the current transfer window and Leeds fans will hope Radrizzani's arrival can lead to more funds being made available.
