RB Leipzig winger Oliver Burke admits that he is not surprised by the amount of Rangers fans who are set to turn up for the friendly on Sunday at the Red Bull Arena.

Rangers are set to get a run out against the second best team in the Bundesliga currently in a friendly this weekend as their players look to sort out their match fitness ahead of returning to action from the winter break.

Despite it being a friendly, an estimated 6,000 to 8,000 Rangers fans are set to descend on the east German city ahead of the game on Sunday to support the Glasgow giants.

However, Scotland international Burke is not surprised by the number of Rangers fans who are set to turn up as he is aware of the passion that Scottish fans in general have for football and their teams.

Asked if he is surprised about the number of Rangers fans travelling for a friendly, the young winger said on the official Rangers Podcast: “To be honest from Rangers? Not really.
