Arsene Wenger has indicated that Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson could soon join Crystal Palace in the current winter transfer window.

Jenkinson has struggled with injuries and form this season at the Emirates and has not been getting regular games for Arsenal, leading to speculation about his future at the club.

Wenger revealed recently that he is one of the players he is considering loaning out in the current winter window and the Frenchman appears to have confirmed that the defender will soon be leaving the club.

The Arsenal boss also indicated that fellow London club Crystal Palace are the ones who are close to securing the signature of the 24-year-old defender in the next few days.

Asked whether the defender will soon leave Arsenal, the Frenchman said in a press conference: “Yes, it’s a possibility that he will be moving in the next two to three days."
