Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba’s easy going attitude have rubbed off to the rest of the Manchester United squad and it has made them a very likable team this season.

Manchester United have won nine games on the bounce over the last couple of months and are looking for their tenth consecutive win when they host Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Ibrahimovic and Pogba’s form has played a key role in Manchester United’s resurgence this season and they have been at the forefront of making Jose Mourinho’s men a formidable outfit again.

And Wright feels the duo have also made the atmosphere around the Manchester United side fun and easy going and it is evident that it has rubbed off on the rest of the players too as they seem to be having fun and enjoying their football at the moment.

The former Gunner said on the Premier League’s Football Today show: “When you look at Ibrahimovic’s character and Pogba’s character, there is mystique.

“Ibrahimovic, no matter what he says, no matter how self indulgent he is, people love it and Pogba seems to be having so much fun – you look at his Instagram.

“It’s infectious and it seems to have gone through the club; you see Jesse Lingard and [Marcus] Rashford, they are all having fun and that’s the kind of charm and mischievousness [they have].

“I don’t know; the fact is that I quite like them and there is something about them and it’s annoying.”

Manchester United are still sixth in the league table and many believe that a win over Liverpool could not only give their top four hopes a boost but could also get them back in the reckoning for the league title.
