Fixture: Manchester United vs Liverpool
Competition: Premier League
Kick-off: 16:00 (UK time)

Liverpool have officially confirmed their starting line-up and substitutes for this afternoon's Premier League fixture against rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is without Sadio Mane, who is away at the Africa Cup of Nations, while Joel Matip is unavailable after FIFA failed to provide guarantees he is available due to Cameroon being in action at the same competition. Liverpool head into the game on the back of a defeat in the EFL Cup away at Southampton in midweek, while they face a Manchester United side who have won their last nine consecutive matches.

Looking for his side to increase their advantage over Manchester United in the Premier League to eight points, Klopp selects Divock Origi up top, with Roberto Firmino also looking to be a goal threat. Georginio Wijnaldum, Emre Can and Jordan Henderson will want to control midfield, while at the back, Ragnar Klavan and Dejan Lovren are the central pairing. Trent Alexander-Arnold is in at right-back.

From the bench, the German boss can call for Daniel Sturridge if he needs to chase the game, while Philippe Coutinho is another option for Klopp.
