Chelsea scouts took in the performances of three potential targets at the weekend when they attended a Serie A clash between Lazio and Atalanta.

The game ended in a 2-1 victory for Lazio, with the hosts claiming all three points to sit in fourth spot in the Serie A standings. The winner came via the penalty spot as Ciro Immobile slotted home.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, scouts from Chelsea were taking in the fixture, running the rule over three players in particular.

Defender Stefan de Vrij was assessed by the Blues' talent spotters, as was his Lazio team-mate Felipe Anderson.

The scouts also took a look at 21-year-old Atalanta striker Andrea Petanga, a product of AC Milan's youth system.
