Patrice Evra’s agent has revealed that the Crystal Palace target will take a decision on his future at Juventus in the next seven to ten days.

The veteran defender has been linked with a return to the Premier League in the current transfer window, with Crystal Palace in talks to sign the Frenchman this month.

Manchester United and Valencia were touted his suitors earlier this month too, but it seems Palace are the ones who are aggressively going after the signature of the Frenchman.

And it appears a return to the Premier League could well be on the cards for the former Manchester United man as according to his agent, Federico Pastorello, Evra is tempted to return to England.

He insisted that Evra has been in touch with Juventus over his future and a decision will be made in the next week or so.

Pastorello was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Calcio Mercato: “He always had an unconditional love for the Premier League and the idea of returning to England inspires him.

“The situation is very simple and will be decided in the next week to ten days.

"Patrice has been speaking with the club and there has been no conflict with [Juventus coach Massimiliano] Allegri and the club behind this reflection [on his career].

“It is more of a moral question than technical.”

Evra won five Premier League titles and a Champions League during his time at Manchester United and remains a popular figure amongst the club's fans.

If he joins Crystal Palace, he will though be walking into a relegation battle.
