Roma have identified Liverpool target Jese Rodriguez as an alternative to Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda and West Ham United winger Sofiane Feghouli.

The Italian giants are keen to bolster their attacking options during the ongoing winter transfer window and have been in talks with Chelsea and Roma over deals for Musonda and Feghouli, respectively.

While Feghouli has thus far failed to make an impact since joining West Ham from Valencia in the summer, Musonda’s season-long loan deal with Real Betis was cut short earlier in the month by Chelsea as the youngster struggled for game time at the Spanish club.

But Roma are not sure of signing the duo, and have hence turned their attention to Jese, according to Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport.

The Spaniard, who joined PSG from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, is yet to make his mark in France.

And he has slipped further down the pecking order with the arrival of Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg.

The former Real Madrid man has been linked with several clubs, including Liverpool and Las Palmas.

Jese has thus far made 14 appearances in all competitions for the French champions, scoring just twice.

His present contract with PSG runs until the summer of 2021.
