Rangers winger Harry Forrester believes the Gers must find a certain consistency week-in-week-out to become better in the second half of the season, as he is sure they can dominate opponents.

Other than a defeat to Celtic at home on New Year’s eve, Rangers had a good month of December and won four out of their six games in the league, including wins over Hearts and Aberdeen.

Stills second in the league and trailing Celtic by 19 points after playing a game more, the Gers are fighting for a place in Europe next season and Forrester feels on the whole, Rangers looked better as a better team going into the winter break.

However, he admits that they need to become more consistent in the second half of the season and maintain a level of performance week-in-week-out to be more effective in the second half of the campaign.

Forrester told Rangers TV: “I think on the whole if we look at all the games, there was a lot more consistency, a lot more positive results, a lot more domination of football games, which we strive to do.
