Rangers manager Mark Warburton has provided an update on his plans for the remainder of this month's transfer window and admitted he is still in the market for additions.

The Scottish giants have already added two players to their ranks in the shape of Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral and Bournemouth schemer Emerson Hyndman, with both joining on loan from their respective Premier League clubs.

But Rangers are not finished yet and Warburton revealed that he could still bring in another fresh face, if the pieces of the jigsaw fall into place, while expressing his delight at Toral and Hyndman settling in; the pair headed to Germany at the weekend with the club for a friendly against RB Leipzig.

Warburton told Rangers TV: "Will we sign anyone else? Possibly. If we can get the right one then we will move but the right ones are few and far between.

"We were delighted to get Jon and Emerson on board and you saw at the weekend that they have settled in well and we’re looking forward to their development", he added.

"But if one more becomes available then we will make that move.

"You’ll find out in which position when it comes to it!"

Warburton was criticised for his transfer business in the summer, when he had been expected to strengthen enough to be closer to Celtic than Rangers currently are.

He brought in big-name signing Joey Barton on a contract worth £20,000 a week, but the midfielder's bust-up with a team-mate and falling out with Warburton saw his contract terminated in November.

Rangers also lost another notable signing earlier this season, with midfielder Niko Kranjcar suffering a season-ending injury.
