Mario Pasalic’s agent admits that the Chelsea loanee is enjoying his time at AC Milan and was a boyhood fan of the Serie A giants.

The midfielder joined the Rossoneri on a loan deal in the summer from Chelsea and after a difficult first few months at the club, he has emerged as a key element of Vincenzo Montella’s team.

Making eleven appearances for AC Milan this season, his performances have led to suggestions that the Rossoneri are keen to have him back for next term, but his agent, Marko Naletilic, insisted that the deal is not that simple.

He stressed that all the parties need to discuss the matter with calm heads and decide the future course of action for Pasalic, but he admits that his client loves it in Italy at his boyhood club AC Milan.

Speaking to Calcio Mercato, his agent said when asked about the possibility of Pasalic returning to the San Siro next season: “There are three parties involved – us, AC Milan and Chelsea.

“It’s important that we talk with seriousness and serenity and we have to understand about the intentions and future plans of the clubs.

“It’s clear if Mario is asked for an opinion today, he can only be positive about his current status.

"He is integrating well with the Italian language, he is in tune with Montella and not to mention the fact that he loves the Rossoneri and has been a fan of the club since he was a child.

“We’ll talk later, there is no rush.”

Pasalic is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea since joining the club in 2015 and the Blues' plans for him remain unclear.
