Juventus are prepared to include Miralem Pjanic in a deal to step up their chase for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

Sanchez, who has been in spectacular form for the Gunners in the current campaign, has around 18 months left in his current contract with the club.

However, the Chilean is yet to agree on a new deal with the Premier League giants and has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.

Juventus have been long-time admirers of Sanchez, who has scored 16 goals and provided 13 assists in 27 games in all competitions this season.

The Italian giants, who previously tried to sign the 28-year-old in 2011 when he joined Barcelona from Udinese, now want to use Pjanic as a makeweight to land the forward.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on Sanchez’s contract situation at Arsenal.

On the other hand, Pjanic, who joined Juventus from Roma in the summer, has managed to make his mark in Turin, netting seven goals in 22 appearances, in addition to setting up nine goals.
