Arsene Wenger has revealed that Olivier Giroud has returned to training with the Arsenal first team squad and could feature against Burnley this Sunday at the Emirates.

The French striker was taken off at the hour mark in Arsenal’s win over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium last weekend and Wenger later admitted that Giroud had been struggling with an ankle injury since the first half.

The forward has been in good form for Arsenal lately and they were dreading losing out on him for a few weeks due to the ankle problem, but it seems Giroud will make the squad against Burnley this weekend.

Wenger revealed that the Frenchman has been back in training since Wednesday and he also added the trio of Hector Bellerin, Francis Coquelin and Kieran Gibbs have also returned to the squad from their respective injuries.

However, Wenger admits that Theo Walcott is yet to recover from a calf problem, which has kept him out since the end of last month.
