Leeds United have still not given up on signing Norwich City’s Sergi Canos and West Ham United forward Ashley Fletcher in January.

The Whites, who are presently third in the Championship table with 48 points from 26 games, have been linked with making moves for the duo during the ongoing winter transfer window.

Barring making Pablo Hernandez’s loan deal permanent, Leeds are yet to conduct any business in January.

The Yorkshire giants want to boost their attacking options and have identified Canos and Fletcher as possible recruits; despite not having made any progress, they still want the pair, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Leeds were linked with Fletcher in the summer too, following the expiration of his contract with Manchester United, but the youngster decided to join West Ham.

The 21-year-old, whose present contract with the Hammers runs until 2020, has thus far clocked up 437 minutes over 16 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League outfit this season, scoring once.

On the other hand, former Liverpool winger Canos has found the back of the net twice and provided an assist in six appearances for Norwich in the present campaign.

With Leeds being in a favourable position in the league table, it remains to be seen if they step up their chase for the pair.
