Disgruntled West Ham star Dimitri Payet is becoming impatient with the time Marseille are taking to sign him in the ongoing transfer window.

Payet is in conflict with the West Ham hierarchy and is pushing to leave the club, which has resulted in him training with the club's Under-23 squad.

The 29-year-old wants to return to France with his former club Marseille and have made it clear that he doesn’t want to play for the Hammers anymore despite the success he has enjoyed in England.

Marseille have been working hard to reach an agreement with West Ham, but the Hammers have already knocked back offers from the club and have been insisting that Payet’s departure from the club is not a foregone conclusion.

And according to French daily La Provence, the Frenchman is becoming increasingly impatient with Marseille and wants them to get a deal over the line as soon as possible.

Payet feels he has done everything needed to force his way out of West Ham and has made his position at the club untenable, making his stay in east London increasingly uncomfortable.

West Ham have maintained that they won’t allow the player to leave, but the club have reportedly slapped a €34m price tag on the player and want Marseille to meet that figure.
