Adnan Januzaj has revealed Paul Pogba wants to see him return to Manchester United in the summer, but stressed he must do what is right for his own career.

The pair are good friends due to their time spent together in Manchester United's youth ranks, with Januzaj admitting he often had dinner with Pogba and played on the PlayStation with his then team-mate.

A reunion was on the cards last summer when Manchester United forked out a world-record sum to bring Pogba back from Juventus, but it ultimately did not happen as Januzaj joined Sunderland on loan.

Januzaj admits Pogba is eyeing the reunion happening this coming summer, but the winger says he must put his career first.

"Paul was like a brother to me", he told Fan magazine.

"We lived together in Manchester and were always together.

"We went to dinner together or played on the PlayStadion. There was a real chemistry and friendship between us", Januzaj explained.

"Paul is a great player.

"He made a different choice, but in the end he succeded and has returned.

"He wants me to return to United this summer.

"But I am now at Sunderland. I have to do what is right for the club and accept the decisions of my superiors.

"I am professional and I have to work professionally."

Januzaj could yet be on the move from Manchester United in the summer, especially as his contract expires in 2018 and he has two French giants in the shape of Lyon and Marseille actively tracking his situation in England.
