Chelsea star Pedro Rodriguez has claimed that his goal against Tottenham Hotspur was better than the one he scored against Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

The Spaniard has been in great form of late and has added three goals to his tally since the start of the new year.

After struggling to get minutes under his belt initially in this campaign, the Spaniard was given opportunities by manager Antonio Conte and he made the most of it.

During his side’s game against Spurs in November last year, Pedro scored an amazing curler from outside the box to beat shot-stopper Hugo Lloris and provided an important equaliser for the Blues.

He again produced a similar goal during Chelsea’s match against Bournemouth and broke the deadlock just 24 minutes into the game.

However, the winger has picked his strike against Tottenham over his goal against the Cherries.

“I have always scored a lot of goals with both feet”, Pedro told the club website.

“It’s an important quality of mine.

"It’s good to be able to shoot with one foot or the other foot, it gives you more options.

“The goal against Bournemouth was a very good goal for me and the team and I’m happy to score again.

"It was a nice moment.

“I think the goal against Tottenham was better but the Bournemouth one was a good goal, also”, said the 29-year-old.

Pedro has thus far made 22 appearances for the Blues this season and has seven goals in addition to seven assists to his name.
