Leeds United captain Liam Bridcutt expects to see young Whites midfielders Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira get to the very top of the game.

Both have come through the youth ranks at Leeds to shine this season and become key men under head coach Garry Monk as the Whites chase promotion to the Premier League.

However, while Phillips spent five years in Leeds' youth set-up before being handed his senior debut in 2015, Vieira was only signed by the Whites in 2015 and progressed quickly into the first team fold.

Bridcutt, who has been bringing experience and calm to Leeds' midfield, was asked on LUTV just how much he rates the pair and whether he believes they can reach the top of the game.

And he has no doubt they can, explaining: "One hundred per cent [they can reach the top].

"They are two of the most talented young players I have ever come across.

"They are going to have great careers."

Phillips is now 21 years old, while Vieira is just 18 years old.

Leeds may have to battle to keep hold of the duo if they do not win promotion to the top flight this season as their performances are unlikely to have gone unnoticed by Premier League clubs.
