Paris Saint-Germain winger Jese Rodriguez wants to move to La Liga side Las Palmas, despite interest from a clutch of other clubs, including Sunderland, and will stay put if his wish is not granted.

Jese only joined PSG from Real Madrid last summer, but he has struggled to make an impact in the French capital and the club's signings of Julian Draxler and Giovani Lo Celso have rendered him surplus to requirements.

He has been linked with Premier League giants Liverpool, but Sunderland are the latest side to eye the winger as they bid to strengthen their squad to try to avoid relegation.

But Jese has his heart set on joining Las Palmas, according to French daily Le Parisien.

The winger hails from the city on Gran Canaria and wants to head home in this month's transfer window.

But Jese's wage package is out of reach for Las Palmas at present, even though the move would only be a loan switch, as he takes home in the region of €400,000 per month.

And should a move to Las Palmas not work out, Jese is presently prepared to dig his heels in and stay at PSG.

A product of Real Madrid's youth system, the winger won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League twice at the Bernabeu.
