Arsenal are serious about snapping up FC Metz teenager Vincent Thill, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

The Luxembourg international joined Metz’s youth system from Niederkorn in 2012 and signed his first professional contract in the summer.

Bayern Munich have also been interested in signing the 16-year-old, who has thus far clocked up 72 minutes over two appearances in all competitions for the French team in the current campaign.

Arsenal, who are known for nurturing young talents, are now claimed to be serious about roping in the starlet.

Thill made his senior Metz debut after coming on as a late substitute in his side’s 3-0 loss to Bordeaux in Ligue 1 in September.
