AC Milan and Roma are continuing to keep tabs on Arsenal star Jack Wilshere, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

The English midfielder, who is currently on a season-long loan deal at Bournemouth, has featured heavily for the Cherries in the present campaign, delighting boss Eddie Howe.

Wilshere recently irked the Arsenal fans after he tweeted that Wayne Rooney is the best captain he has played with, following the Manchester United star’s strike against Hull City which made him the Red Devils’ highest ever goalscorer.

The 25-year-old’s present contract with the Gunners runs until 2018, and it is claimed he is yet to decide whether to extend the deal.

Roma and AC Milan have been credited with showing interest in Wilshere in the past and they remain alive to the situation of the midfielder, who has often struggled with injuries.
