Hull City and Swansea City are involved in a three-way scrap for Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia.

The centre-back has fallen firmly out of favour at the San Siro, being largely overlooked by Frank de Boer and then his successor Stefano Pioli this season.

His representatives are working overtime to find him another club in the current transfer window and were in London last week for talks with interested parties.

According to Sky Italia, three clubs are leading the chase for Ranocchia.

Hull City are keen to put him at new manager Marco Silva's disposal, while Swansea City boss Paul Clement wants to welcome Ranocchia to the Liberty Stadium.
