Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia is reluctant to join Zenit St. Petersburg and is waiting for news from his Premier League suitors, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 28-year-old has fallen firmly out of favour at Inter Milan and has been heavily linked with making a move away from the club during the ongoing transfer window.

Premier League outfits Swansea City and Hull City have been credited with showing interest in Ranocchia, with Bundesliga clubs Hamburg and Wolfsburg also being in the fray.

As a result of several clubs from the top European leagues showing interest in him, the Italian centre-back is willing to wait, despite Zenit pushing for a transfer.

Although Ranocchia’s compatriot Domenico Criscito features for Zenit, he is still not convinced about joining the Russian side.
