Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini could consider leaving for China this month despite interest from a group of Premier League clubs, according to Italian daily Tutto Mercato.

The 25-year-old, who has scored five goals in 19 appearances in all competitions for Napoli in the present campaign, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Italian outfit during the winter transfer window.

Premier League clubs Southampton, West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City, West Ham United and Watford have all shown interest in snapping up Gabbiadini, with Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg also being in the fray.

While Wolfsburg want to sign the Italian on loan with a purchase option, Southampton are prepared to pay €15m for the 25-year-old.

However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants at least €20m for Gabbiadini, whose present contract with the club runs until 2019.

With just a week left before the closure of the transfer window, the forward is also open to the idea of playing outside Europe.

Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian could be an option, with their manager Fabio Cannavaro being an admirer of his compatriot.

If Napoli fail to reach an agreement with a European club in the coming days, Gabbiadini could consider playing in the cash-rich Chinese Super League.

However, he will have time to evaluate the situation as the Chinese transfer window will remain open until 28th February.

Gabbiadini has scored five goals in 19 appearances in all competitions for Napoli this season.
