Former Ajax boss Aad de Mos believes that PSV Eindhoven talent Gaston Pereiro would be a perfect fit for Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur.

Pereiro, who PSV Eindhoven signed to a five-year contract in the summer of 2015 after snapping him up from Uruguayan side Nacional, has already started to impress in the Dutch top flight.

De Mos is impressed by what he has seen from the Uruguayan, but feels he would be even better in a team that attack for the majority of a game, rather than play with the handbrake on, as he believes PSV Eindhoven often do.

"In a team that are very dominant when they play, he would be used to better advantage", De Mos explained in the Eindhovens Dagblad.

"I think he could be a good signing even for Arsenal and Tottenham", the 69-year-old continued.

"PSV still play frequently with the handbrake on and don't truly release it."

So far this season the 21-year-old has made 26 appearances in all competitions for PSV Eindhoven, scoring eight goals and providing his team-mates with four assists.

He clocked up five appearances in the Champions League group stage and provided the assist for his side's goal in a 4-1 defeat to Bayern Munich.
