Atalanta are expected to demand more money from Franck Kessie’s suitors as they feel the defensive midfielder’s value has increased dramatically, due to strong interest from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sportitalia.

Kessie, who has been in fine form for Atalanata in the present campaign, has been heavily linked with leaving the Italian side in January, with several clubs interested in snapping him up.

Besides PSG and Chelsea, the Ivory Coast international is also on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus and Roma.

Atalanta are not keen to lose Kessie, at least until this summer, and have thus far rejected bids from Chelsea, PSG and Spurs for their star player.

But it remains to be seen if they manage to maintain their stance, with the 20-year-old’s stock rising significantly as PSG and Chelsea are ready to battle it out for his signature.

Juventus and Roma are also keeping tabs on Kessie, who has scored seven goals in 17 appearances in all competitions this season, in addition to providing two assists.

And Juventus want to be kept informed on Kessie, despite his spiralling price tag.

The youngster, who represented Ivory Coast in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, is contracted with Atalanta until 2021.
