Moussa Dembele feels Celtic are closing in on their sixth consecutive Scottish Premiership title, following his side’s 1-0 win over Aberdeen on Wednesday.

The Hoops, who are yet to lose a domestic game this season, edged out the Dons 1-0 at Paradise, courtesy of Dedryck Boyata’s second half goal.

Brendan Rodgers’ team presently find themselves 25 points clear at the top of the league table, with second-placed Rangers losing 4-1 to Hearts in another game on Wednesday.

And Dembele, who missed the game against Aberdeen with a knee problem, was pleased with Celtic’s professional performance as he feels the win has put his side one step closer to the league title.

“Another 3 points yesterday, another clean sheet, another step closer to the title [emoji] and amazing atmosphere”, he tweeted.
