Juventus have no plans to sell Liverpool linked Francesco Cassata, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.
The midfielder, who joined Ascoli from Juventus on a season-long loan deal last summer, has thus far made 22 appearances in all competitions for the Serie B outfit in the present campaign.
It was claimed that Liverpool enquired about signing Cassata during the January transfer window and were ready to slap in a bid of around €10m for the Italian.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to bring in young players to build a team for the future and Cassata appeared to be on his shortlist of targets.
However, the 19-year-old stayed put at Ascoli and Juventus have no plans to sell, thereby dashing the Reds’ hopes of landing the youngster.
