Arsene Wenger has claimed that he will remain in football management next season regardless of his future at Arsenal.

A 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday night has increased the decibel levels around the Frenchman’s future at Arsenal, with many feeling Wenger might not renew his contract at the end of the season.

There are suggestions that a two-year deal is lying on the Arsenal manager’s table and it is up to him whether he decides to sign and extend his 21-year stay at the Gunners.

Wenger has repeatedly said that he will only decide at the end of the season and the Frenchman stressed that he will continue in football management next season, but refused to confirm whether he will remain in charge of Arsenal.

Asked about his future again, Wenger said in a press conference earlier today: “My future is not important, the team is and Arsenal football club.
