Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is not happy with his role at the Santiago Bernabeu amidst talk of interest from Chelsea in the summer.

The Spanish international rejoined Real Madrid last year from Juventus, but has struggled to get into the starting eleven with the attacking trio of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo still first choice.

Morata scored the winning goal in Real Madrid’s comeback win over Villarreal last Sunday, but it is unlikely to turn him into a regular in Zinedine Zidane’s starting eleven this season.

The 24-year-old forward feels he has been unfairly treated by the Real Madrid manager and there is speculation that he could angle for a move away from the club in the summer.

According to Spanish daily El Confidencial, Chelsea have been keeping tabs on the player’s situation and could make a move for him at the end of the season.
