Watford striker M’Baye Niang is yet to decide whether to continue at Vicarage Road beyond the end of the current campaign.

The Hornets signed the forward from AC Milan during the January window on loan, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has been a regular feature of Walter Mazzarri’s team since his arrival at Watford and has a Premier League goal and an assist each to his name thus far.

Watford can trigger the option to sign the player for a fee of €18m any time before 30th June based on a verbal agreement between the club and the Italian giants.

However, according to Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato, Niang himself is yet to make any definitive decision about continuing at Watford and is keen to keep his options open for the moment.

The player is unlikely to return to AC Milan in the summer, but the Rossoneri are keeping a close watch on his performances ahead of the summer window as they remain keen to sell him.

The Italian giants are looking to earn the €18m from his sale or more if any other English clubs show an interest in the Frenchman, which could happen if he hits a good run of form from now until the end of the season.
