Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has conceded that he would not want to face Leicester City in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Italian champions managed to see off the challenge of FC Porto in the Champions League last 16 tie and booked their place in the last eight of competition last night.

Leicester have been the surprise package of the Champions League this season and proved most of the pundits wrong by beating Sevilla in the last 16 tie to earn a place in the quarter-finals.

A battling 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium last night meant the Premier League relegation battlers have joined the elite of European football in the last eight of the Champions League.

And Buffon admits that he would not want Juventus to come up against the Foxes as the Italian champions would have everything to lose against Craig Shakespeare’s men.
