Arsene Wenger admits that he is still not sure for how long Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny will be out as the extent of his injury has still not been determined.

Koscielny didn’t take to the field in the second half in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Manchester City on Sunday after suffering a knee injury before the break at the Emirates.

And Wenger admits that he is still unsure about the extent of the defender’s injury and more will be known when the Frenchman undergoes a scan later today to assess the damage.

The Arsenal boss also revealed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey could be back in the squad for tomorrow’s clash against West Ham, but Petr Cech is yet to recover from his hamstring injury.

Wenger also added that club captain Per Mertesacker could play his first game of the season tomorrow at the Emirates after recovering from a long term knee injury.
