Arsene Wenger admits that Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is still an uncertainty for Sunday’s north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The defender injured his knee in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Leicester City on Wednesday night and is a doubt to feature at White Hart Lane this weekend in the big local derby.

Wenger has revealed that there has been positive news on the Frenchman’s injury following scans but admits that Koscielny is still uncertain to play a part against Tottenham.

The Arsenal boss further added that another defender, Shkodran Mustafi, is still a few weeks away from recovering from an injury but is expected to return to the fold for the last few games of the season.

“The uncertainty we have is about Koscielny”, Wenger said in a press conference earlier today.
