Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal still have a chance to finish in the Premier League's top three despite falling behind their top four rivals in recent weeks.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League table on 60 points, five adrift of fourth placed Manchester City and have a tough trip to second placed Tottenham to deal with this weekend.

Spurs are major favourites to beat Arsenal in what could be the last north London derby at White Hart Lane and the Gunners are also set to welcome Manchester United, who are unbeaten in the league since October, next month to the Emirates.

Many feel finishing in the top four could be a bridge too far for Wenger’s men this season but the Frenchman believes that his side still have a chance to even break into the top three if they finish the campaign with a run of wins.

The Arsenal boss said in a press conference earlier today: “I don’t think the top three is decided.

“Well, we have an opportunity to be there but only if we win our games.

"We don’t have to speculate on who is in or not in, still a lot can happen between now and the end of the season.

“Simple, for us the only advantage is in our position we don’t need to calculate we need to give everything and win our games.”

Arsenal do have a chance to finish the season with a trophy in their bag as they will be taking on Chelsea at Wembley on 27th May in the FA Cup final.
