Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell believes that Brendan Rodgers, Kieran Tierney and Scott Sinclair rightly deserve the awards they have won.

The newly crowned Premiership champions dominated the PFA Scotland award ceremony in Glasgow, thus being recognised for the good work they have continued doing this year.

While manager Rodgers lifted the Manager of the Year Award, Sinclair won the Player of The Year award along with Tierney, who was declared the Young Player of the Year.

Striker Moussa Dembele on the other hand was presented with the Goal of the Season award.

Congratulating the players as well as their manager, Lawwell said that the awards are all well deserved and comes as a recognition of the good work they have done this season.

“I would like to congratulate Brendan, Scott, Kieran and Moussa on receiving their PFA Awards last night", Lawwell told his club's official website.

“These are so very well deserved and fitting recognition for the tremendous amount of hard work which they have all put into a tremendous season.

“We have enjoyed a fantastic season so far and Brendan and his team have represented the club brilliantly in everything they have done.”

Celtic have already won two tournaments this season under the stewardship of Rodgers and will be eyeing the third when they take on Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final on 27th May.
