Marco van Ginkel admits he does not know what Chelsea have in mind for him and is hoping to find out soon.

The pass-master is currently on loan back in his homeland with PSV Eindhoven, however the end of the season is looming with just one more match left for the side to play, this weekend at home against Zwolle.

Van Ginkel missed the first half of the season with injury, but then joined PSV on loan in the winter transfer window when he had regained his fitness.

The midfielder has so far made 14 appearances in the Eredivisie this term, scoring an impressive seven goals and providing three assists for his team-mates.

PSV want Van Ginkel back for another spell next season, but the midfielder admits he is waiting to find out what Chelsea have in store for him.

"I do not quite know what my future looks like, but it will be clear in the coming days", Van Ginkel told PSV TV.

"Everything is negotiable, but I do not really think about it yet.

"We will have to wait for the coming period.

"There are several parties – myself, Chelsea, I do not know what they want", he added.

It is unclear whether Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is planning to include Van Ginkel in his pre-season plans, or may quickly allow the Dutchman to exit the club.

The Premier League giants have the 24-year-old under contract until the summer of 2019.
