Chelsea target Antonio Rudiger has an offer to join Inter Milan in the summer, his agent has confirmed.

The Germany international has been continuously linked with a move away from Roma since last year but a serious knee injury prevented any talk of a transfer last summer.

However, the defender has shaken off his injury problems and has been in good form for Roma since coming back in October and has again attracted the interest of top clubs.

Chelsea are reported to be interested in snaring him away from the Stadio Olimpico in the summer but it seems Inter are the ones who are doing all the heavy lifting to sign Rudiger.

And Alexander Bergweiler, the player’s agent, revealed that the Nerazzurri have made an offer to Rudiger to move to the San Siro at the end of the season.

He told FCInter1908.it: “I can confirm that there has been a very good offer from Inter.

“Toni and Roma will make an assessment in the summer.”

Despite recovering from a serious knee injury, Rudiger has still clocked up 32 appearances for Roma this season and has a contract until 2020 with the club.
