Celtic attacking midfielder Tom Rogic believes that the result of Friday night's game against Aberdeen will not have any bearing on the Scottish Cup final between the two teams.

The Bhoys have already been crowned the Scottish Premiership champions and will have three more league matches to play before they face Friday's opponents Aberdeen in the final of the cup on 27th May.

Rogic, who has endured a tough season this term, seeing his appearances being limited due to injury, hopes that his team can continue with their winning momentum as they head into their last game of the season and complete the process of winning the treble.

However, the 24-year-old is confident that whatever the result of the match is, it won't affect Celtic's performance against the same side in the Scottish Cup final and their desire to go on and win every game they play will also not change in any way.

“We’re playing them in the cup final obviously, but regardless of how tomorrow goes it won’t mean much in terms of the Scottish Cup", Rogic told his club's official website.

"That’s a one-off match, it’s high pressured and anything can happen on the day, so I don’t think you can look too much into it either way.

“We go into every game wanting to win and that’s not going to change.

"It’s not so much about focusing on the unbeaten run, but more it’s more about looking at things one game at a time.

"We have big games between now and the cup final, so we just focus on the next one.”
