Manchester United custodian Sergio Romero has insisted that he is happy to be at Old Trafford and is unlikely to head back to Serie A, where he has been linked with Inter, in the summer.

The Argentine has mostly been an understudy for David de Gea since arriving at the club in 2015, featuring mostly in the cups this term under Jose Mourinho.

However, 30-year-old insists that he is happy with his role at the club and has no desire to leave the Premier League to return to Serie A.

The Nerazzurri have been on the lookout for a new goalkeeper to play second fiddle to Samir Handanovic and have zeroed in on the former Sampdoria man.

The Italian giants are ready to offer Romero a two-year contract, though after the player's revelation their future course of action is to be seen.
