Kasper Dolberg’s agent has insisted that Ajax will take the final call on the Liverpool target's future.

The 19-year-old forward is gradually becoming one of the most sought after young forwards ahead of the transfer window after starring for Ajax in their Europa League semi-final tie against Lyon.

Liverpool have been closely following the young Dane, with Jurgen Klopp dubbing him "fantastic", and even Manchester United, Napoli and AC Milan are interested in signing him during the summer transfer window.

However, his agent, Jens Steffensen, stressed the future of his client depends on what Ajax want to do with the forward at the end of the season.

He told Italian radio station Radio Crc: “He has a contract and the club will decide the future of my client.”

But Steffensen remained coy on the long term future of Dolberg at Ajax and the possibility of him leaving in the summer.

Asked if Dolberg could leave Ajax in the summer, he said: “It’s a difficult question as he is one of the most popular players in Europe, but I cannot say anymore.”

The 19-year-old forward has netted 22 goals in all competitions this season and has a contract until 2021 with Ajax.
