Napoli are becoming increasingly confident about holding on to Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of the summer transfer window.

Antonio Conte tried to sign the Senegal international last summer too, but Napoli remained firm and rejected multiple offers from Chelsea in order to keep hold of their star defender.

The Chelsea manager has not lost sight of the 25-year-old defender and despite winning the league title in his first season, he is again expected to try his luck with Koulibaly.

The Senegalese has enjoyed another fine season at Napoli and according to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the club are confident of keeping Koulibaly at the San Paolo again beyond the summer transfer window.

The defender has remained a vital cog in Maurizio Sarri’s team and the Napoli hierarchy are determined to fight off interest from Chelsea again to keep him at the club.
