Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic's former Sweden team-mate Emil Forsberg has revealed that the striker has a tendency to be annoying at times, always trying to bring out the best from his team-mates.

The RB Leipzig star made his debut for the Swedish national team in 2014 and played alongside Ibrahimovic until Euro 2016, when the Manchester United player finally decided to retire from international football.

While opening up on his interactions with the former Barcelona man, the 25-year-old said that the 35-year-old has a tendency to be a bit annoying, telling his team-mates to roll up their sleeves whenever he feels that a player hasn't performed according to his ability or has had a bad training session.

At times Forsberg feels that Ibrahimovic can be irritating but it is how he is and that is why the former AC Milan man can be called the king of Sweden.

"Zlatan can be incredibly annoying", the Swedish international told Spox.

"When you have had a bad training session, he keeps on approaching you and bothers you with questions why you trained so badly, how it is even possible to train that badly and why you were not focused.

"Some of it is joking around and some of it is serious.

"But that's the way he is, he always wants to win and pushes those around him to new heights.

"He is not playing some sort of character, he simply is the way he is. He really is the king in Sweden, that is not an exaggeration.

"Nobody can even compare to Zlatan.

"He can get away with anything he says, but there is no-one else like that.

"He has created this situation himself with his consistently strong performances.

"Zlatan always was my role model when I was a child.

"It is incredibly cool to have played with him and it is a pity that he retired from international football."
