Chelsea have a scout at tonight's Serie A game between Roma and Juventus.

The Blues, who sealed the Premier League title in Antonio Conte's first season in charge, are now in the thick of planning for next season, where they will also have Champions League football on the agenda as they look to defend their domestic crown.

Chelsea have a scout at Roma's ground to watch two players, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, with the players in question being defender Antonio Rudiger and midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

The Blues have been linked with the pair in the past, but this summer could be when they finally pounce.

With John Terry ending his association with Chelsea this coming summer, the Blues need another centre-back and Rudiger may fit the bill.

Conte also wants reinforcements in midfield and Nainggolan could add to his stock of options in the centre of the park.

The Chelsea manager is well aware of the Italian market and the indications are that he will make use of his contacts during the upcoming summer window.
