Chelsea scouts watched Liverpool target Andrea Conti in action during Atalanta’s 1-1 draw with AC Milan on Saturday, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

The natural full-back, who has been playing as a midfielder in the present campaign, has been in fine form for Atalanta this season.

Conti has scored eight times and set up five goals in 33 appearances in all competitions this term, and his performances have attracted the interest of several European heavyweights.

Besides the Premier League duo of Liverpool and Chelsea, Conti has been linked with La Liga giants Barcelona.

Bayern Munich have conducted initial surveys on the Italian defender as well, with the Bavarians’ Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund also sending scouts to watch Conti in action closely against AC Milan.
