Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac has agreed to join Arsenal on 1st July when his contract with the German club expires, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

The 23-year-old has long been linked with a move away from the Veltins-Arena with AC Milan and Manchester City also showing keen interest.

It was recent revealed that he could finally land in England, where there was the possibility of him earning an astonishing €140,000 per week.

And Arsene Wenger's team have now managed to secure the player's services, though the exact details of the contract are yet to be known.
 


The German side had already given up on hope of extending the Bosnia international's contract, which is set to expire in the summer.

The defender had been closely weighing up his options and deciding which club would best fit him going forward.

The news though is yet to be confirmed by either of the two clubs, with the Gunners still fighting for Champions League qualification next season.

Kolasinac has managed total of 36 appearances for the German club this term, adding to the scoresheet three times and has also set up nine more goals for his team-mates.
