Tottenham Hotspur have pressed the accelerator in the chase for Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick and have already agreed the terms of a contract with his agent, it has been claimed.

The Czech forward has enjoyed a fruitful first season in Italian football following his move from Sparta Prague last summer and has attracted interest from several sides.

Inter Milan and Juventus are interested in snapping him up and scouts from Tottenham and Arsenal have watched him action this season, signaling their interest in the 21-year-old.

However, it seems Tottenham are pushing forward in the chase for Schick and according to Il Secolo XIX, they have already the outlines of a potential contract with his agent Pavel Paska.

The presence of €25m release clause in his contract makes the negotiations between the two clubs straight-forward as Spurs would only have to meet that figure to sign him.

Sampdoria are aware of the chances of losing Schick in the summer and have been in touch with agent to agree a new contract with the hopes of raising the release clause to around the €50m mark.

However, it seems they are yet to reach an agreement and Schick could be heading towards England in the summer if Tottenham fork out €25m.
