Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has remained non-committal about the club signing a new goalkeeper in the summer amidst speculation of the club’s interest in David de Gea.

The Manchester United goalkeeper came close to joining Real Madrid in 2015, only for the transfer to fall apart in the final minutes of the window, but the club are claimed to be determined to sign the Spaniard this summer.

De Gea has reportedly told Manchester United that he wants to join Real Madrid and there are suggestions that the Red Devils want a world record fee for a goalkeeper if they eventually allow him to leave.

However, Zidane is keeping his cards close to his chest and while he insisted that he is happy with the options he has in his squad, he remained coy on whether he will be looking to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer.

The Real Madrid coach said in a press conference when asked whether a new goalkeeper is on his agenda for the summer: “We have three very good goalkeepers and we are happy with the three.
